Training

I devise and lead training sessions for a variety of clients including the Independent Cinema Office (ICO), the Arts Marketing Association (AMA), the International Confederation of Art Cinemas and the British Council. These can range from short sessions, to full day workshops, and week long intensive courses.

I am a frequent contributor to the ICO’s professional development programme including creating and leading a four day course on Data Driven Marketing, contributing sessions on research and audience development to Cultural Cinema Exhibition and Developing Your Film Festival.

I have considerable experience of international training; sharing UK practice, adapting and refining models and approaches, and exchanging ideas with cultural professionals in other countries. For the last three years I have contributed to ACAM – Art Cinema Action Management – the only international training for cultural cinemas, as part of the Venice Film Festival; and I have led workshops on audience engagement for the British Council, in Malaysia, Kuwait, Greece and Russia.
